Garth Woods Conservancy is a non-profit organization in Scarsdale, N.Y.  Its purpose and mission is to restore, preserve and improve safety along the last stretch of the Bronx River Parkway, which remains in its original form, and is the oldest parkway in our country. Although it keeps the entire property in mind, the Conservancy regards the local programs of the Eastchester-Scarsdale sector of the Bronx River Parkway as its focus. The Conservancy serves as a vehicle for citizen participation without the need for government funding.
